Deborah Hess is a mixed-media artist who has been creating abstract art for the 16 years. Her art is a raw interpretation of her personal life experiences. She is known for her use of distorted 360-degree imagery and unique materials.

Deborah grew up in La Habra and now makes her home in Redlands.

Where ever she lives or roams, Deborah's perspective on life is in 360 degrees. An abstract world forms in her mind, provoking emotions and attributes that show through in her work.

Deborah earned a BA and MA in education with an emphasis in art from the University of La Verne. She studied abstract sculpture and says her influences include her art professors as well as Jackson Pollock, Jean Arp, Piet Mondrian, and Pablo Picasso.
